Chris + megan

On a beautiful picturesque fall day, Chris and Megan tied the knot in his parent’s backyard on Snow’s Lane, a place cherished by many friends and family. Their son Clay and niece Mabel made the most adorable ring bearer and flower girl pair as the couple embraced a celebration devoid of pomp, yet rich in heartfelt moments.

This was a special wedding for me as a planner, as the groom’s sister (a bridesmaid in the wedding) is a dear friend and I’ve now planned her wedding, along with her brothers, as well as two of their four immediate cousins. It was a true honour to help bring together this day for Chris and Megan.

Captured by Wild & Heart Photography, the sun gave us the most beautiful lighting for bridal portraits as the couple strolled throughout the charming village of historic Quidi Vidi in St. John’s, Newfoundland, ending with a boat ride in the harbour. We then arrived at the beautiful Quidi Vidi Brewery where the couple’s dear friends and owners of the brewery hosted a heartwarming reception filled with Megan and Chris’s friends and family. It was a night filled with dancing and laughter as the couple made memories to last a lifetime.
